Join us for the first showcase of the weekend at Room 33 as we launch the Flagship City Comedy Festival in style! Enjoy a night of laughter with comedians from across the country, alongside some of Erie’s best local talent.
Feature Headliner Dwight Simmons
Dwight Simmons is currently a writer for the Bob and Tom Show, co-director of Limestone Comedy Festival, and his special "Who's the Master" is out on Youtube. You can catch him and other festival comics Thursday 4.24 at the 10/20 Collective for $15.
Calamari's Comedy Showcase
Day two of the Flagship City Comedy Festival starts off at Calamari's Squid Row with a showcase of festival comics from all over the country along with local talent. Tickets are just $10, and you can call 814-459-4276 for dinner reservations. General seating will begin at 5:30 with showtime starting at 6.
Feature Headliner Brandie Posey
Brandie Posey has been on Comedy Central, E!, MTV and has performed at countless festivals and clubs all over the country. She'll be bringing her comic talents to 10/20 Collective Friday April 25th while being supported by festival comics. Doors will open at 8 with the show beginning at 8:30.
Comics Against Humanity Comedy Showcase
Just like the game Cards Against Humanity, comics will get 3-5 random cards and will improv stories and jokes according to their cards say! Created and hosted by Buffalo's Rick Matthews it is always unexpected and hilarious. This show will happen in Hazard's Mini Golf Social Pub with seating beginning at 10:30 and showtime starting at 11pm. Tickets will be $10, and you can come early to grab some drinks and play a round of mini golf!
Black Monk Comedy Showcase
Our third showcase is FREE thanks to Black Monk Brewery for sponsoring the show. Seating begins at 5 with show starting at 5:30, but due to past years attendance we suggest getting there early for good seats as the show is often standing room only. The showcase will be filled with local and national talent, and if there are no food trucks on site you are welcomed to bring your own food/snacks.

Flagship City Comedy Festival's 2025 headliner is Shane Torres who can be seen on CONAN (twice), THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT, NBC’S LAST COMIC STANDING, HALF HOUR SPECIAL WITH COMEDY CENTRAL, and THIS WEEK FROM THE CELLAR on Comedy Central. You might have heard Shane’s “laconic drawling delivery with deliberate pacing” as the NY Times calls it, on popular podcasts such as BERTCAST WITH BERT KREISCHER, BARSTOOL’S KFC RADIO, DR DREW AFTER DARK, THE HONEYDEW WITH RYAN SICKLER, ARE YOU GARBAGE and a slew of others. His podcast, NO ACCOUNTING FOR TASTE with Kyle Kinane is available wherever you get your podcasts.
Inked Comedy - Tattoo Comedy Show
Beyond excited to bring back a festival favorite Inked Comedy where the comedians get a tattoo live during their set! Only the bravest (or worst decision making) comics locally and around the country sit down for their set. Tickets will be $10
Feature Headliner Ben Roy
Last but certainly not least the highly energetic Ben Roy finishes out the featured headliners of the weekend for the last show of the festival. Calling Denver home you can frequently see him at the world famous Comedy Works, but you may have also seen him in several shows on Comedy Central and HBO. His latest comedy album HYENA was one of NPR's top specials of the year, and later picked up and began streaming on HULU.

Not Your Grandma's Brunch Show at The Zone
Come grab some brunch provided buffet style with a select menu from Calamari’s Squid Row and drinks available behind the bar at The Zone Dance Club while you laugh at some of the nations up and coming comics, hosted Erie's Drag Queen Rebecca Mae. Tickets for the event will be $30, which will include buffet. Doors will open at 11 and show will begin at 12:30. If not sold out, tickets for comedy only, will be available saturday and at the door for $20.
Sean Patton at Erie Playhouse

Flagship City Comedy Festival teamed up with Cavin Eggleston to bring his live D&D comedy show Monster Monster to the festival. This unique and hilarious show is taking off across the nation and something you don't want to miss! Tickets for the event are $10 and doors are at 11 with the show beginning at 11:30.
Derek Sheen at 10/20 Collective
